Fast-Paced Project with Mabe

Mainline Connects was brought in by Mabe, a trusted AV integrator, to assist with a fast-paced Q-SYS programming project for Summit Broadband, a local internet service provider. The project centered around enhancing one of their key conferencing and collaboration spaces, and Mainline Connects was tasked with programming and commissioning the Q-SYS system to meet the client's needs.

Quick Turnaround for a High-Functioning Space

Mabe, who had previously designed and installed the AV system, reached out to Mainline Connects due to a tight project timeline and limited staff bandwidth. With a need for a quick turnaround, we stepped in to provide programming and commissioning services, ensuring that the system was fully operational in just one day on site.

Our role involved programming the Q-SYS system from scratch, configuring it to process audio, control TV displays, and manage the room’s camera system. This system provided Summit Broadband with a seamless, integrated solution for their collaboration space, allowing for simple control over key AV components during meetings and presentations.

Custom Interface Design

In addition to programming the system, Mainline Connects designed a clean and intuitive graphical interface for the room’s Q-SYS touch panel. The interface was customized to incorporate Summit Broadband’s logo and corporate colors, ensuring it aligned with the company’s branding and providing an enhanced user experience for their staff.

Going Beyond the Scope

As a finishing touch, Mainline Connects went above and beyond the original scope of work. We created a custom splash screen featuring the Summit Broadband logo, which was uploaded to the Clickshare base station that manages content for the room’s displays. This meant that when the room was not in use, the Summit Broadband logo was prominently featured on the screens, giving the space a professional and polished look.

The client was particularly pleased with this extra detail, as it helped reinforce their branding within the space and made the room feel uniquely tailored to their needs.
